The Hibernian Rifles participated during Easter Week in the 1916 Rising. At times in history this was often overlooked perhaps even disputed as their part of the AOH. Padraic Pearse confirms them as part of the action in the first War Bulletin of Easter Week. The Irish War News which was penned on the Tuesday morning in Pearse's own handwriting.
