A surprising content we find in the Joe Stanley & Gaelic Press papers is a poem and music verse from The O Rahilly.  Joe as we know published and/or printed many of other people's creations.

The verse "Bachelors Walk" is a song with instructions as to the air in which to sing it and a handwritten note to do 300 copies.  Concerning The Howth Gun Running affair it seems, and a skirmish with the authorities at Bachelors Walk when it appears the authorities panicked and over reacted. Notes on the incident are included from BMH witness below.

The second verse called "Our Sister Isle" is a recitation with prose composed by the O Rahilly, lamenting our subjugation by Britain and looking forward to the "inevitable restoration of our Sovereign Independence" - a verse of the times indeed . .
