Joseph M Byrne of Barrow Street Dublin produced a series of etchings of his internee experience in Frongoch and some of Wakefield and Wandsworth prisons. He called his collections from Frongoch to London and Within Prison Walls. They are an excellent witness to the period and prisoner experience.
In 1918 Joe Stanley purchased the collection and rights of same from JM Byrne for the Gaelic Press.
